COVID-19 UPDATE
We are pleased to announce we are open.
However, under the government guidelines we are working at a reduced rate and only seeing emergency appointments.
We will be in contact to schedule routine appointments, so please do not contact the practice unless you have an emergency.
Thank you to all our patients and families for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
Modifications to our normal procedures are in place. Please review our Covid-19 Policy before attending any appointments at the practice.

Treatments
There are many different types of braces, each custom designed to do different things.
Your treatment may involve just one of these appliances, or two or more appliances, depending on your treatment plan.
Fixed Braces
Fixed Braces are commonly called 'train track' braces. The teeth are pushed or pulled along a wire using elastic bands or springs.
More About Fixed Braces
Retainers
When active treatment is complete there is a period of retention. Retainers are designed to keep your teeth straight.
More About Retainers
Removable Braces
Simple treatments use a removable appliance. These have delicate wires and springs which move the teeth by gentle pressure.

Twin Blocks
A Twin Block Functional Appliance consists of upper and lower removable braces that are worn at the same time.

Headgear
Headgear uses outside force to aid the straightening of your teeth. It is usually used to move your back teeth further back in the jaw.

Invisible Braces
Private treatment options include using clear brackets, making fixed braces more discrete and almost invisible.
